Changelog

Expanded the org directory to 53 organizations

The directory now covers 53 US-based nonprofits with documented Nigeria programs — up from 38. This round added organizations across Health, Economic Development, Child Protection, Humanitarian, and Multi-sector work.

Polished the UI and formalized trend categories

The site's layout got a round of visual cleanup, and the way nonprofits map to coverage trends is now more formally defined. This gives the data model a clearer backbone going into the next round of expansion.

Expanded Nigeria org coverage from 13 to 38

Added 25 more US-based nonprofits with significant programs in Nigeria, spanning health, economic development, humanitarian relief, and water & sanitation. The broader dataset makes the visualization more representative of where the money actually flows.

Fixed several mobile usability issues

The site was breaking in small ways on mobile — content overflowing, scroll getting trapped, touch targets too small, filters falling out of sync with charts. Cleaned up all of these so the experience holds together on smaller screens.

First look at US-to-Nigeria giving flows

Started building a visualization of charitable money moving from the US into Nigeria. The core question: which sectors receive the most funding, and from whom? Early exploration of both the data and the right visual format.
